Stock and freshness
How current is the stock info?
Our checks run in passes several times a day. One pass doesn't reach every store, so each store's last check can be minutes old or several days old. Every count shows when it was checked, such as "checked 1 hr ago", and each dumpling page has a "How recent are our checks?" breakdown. Read the time before you drive.
Where do the stock reports come from?
Every In stock, Out of stock and No record answer comes from our own live checks of Five Below's store availability information, for the dumplings we track. Research leads, eBay finds and package label reads never set a stock state.
What do In stock, Out of stock and No record mean?
- In stock: Five Below reported a quantity above zero at that store when we checked.
- Out of stock: Five Below reported zero at that store when we checked.
- No record (shown on dumpling pages as "no store data yet"): No record means Five Below's system had nothing for that store when we checked. It isn't the same as sold out.
A page that says "We haven't checked any stores for this one yet" means just that: no checks yet.
What counts as a restock?
In Recent activity, Restocked means a store went from a reported zero to a reported quantity. The other entries are Now out of stock, Fewer in stock and More in stock. A store that goes from no record to in stock gets no entry in Recent activity, and it's never labeled Restocked. A store marked First check is in stock with only one stored check in the recent window, so there's nothing yet to compare.
Why does a store show stock but the shelf is empty?
The count is what Five Below's system showed at that time. Items can sell, sit in the back, or be miscounted between our check and your visit. Treat the count as a good lead, and call the store if you're making a long trip.
Which states and stores do you track?
About 2,000 Five Below stores in 47 states and Washington, D.C., from Five Below's official store directory. Alaska, Hawaii and Montana have no tracked stores, so they don't appear. Browse by state on the States page.
Finding the right dumpling
How do I find a dumpling by SKU or UPC?
Turn the package over. The back label prints the Five Below SKU (it ends in "/FB" on many packs) and the UPC barcode number. Search either number on the site to land on the matching release. Our guide How to identify a Mystery Dumpling by SKU or UPC walks through it.
Why does the same name have more than one release?
Some names come back in a new package with a new SKU. Stuffed Bun is one example: the 2026 Stuffed Bun is SKU 9254138, and the older one is SKU 9246887. We keep each release separate so the stock and identifiers stay correct. More in Why the same Dumpling name can have multiple releases.

Will I see ads?
Ads aren't running yet. Once they start, only free visitors in the United States will see them. They will come from Google AdSense and help pay for the checks. Hunter, a paid membership with store names and no ads, is coming soon.
